How do we work?
Getting to know you and your business
Our initial contact with you will be a FREE 20min Discovery Call so that we can ascertain whether we can help you with your web project. This meeting also gives us both an opportunity to see whether we’re a good fit.
If we decide to move forward, the next stage is a Business Intensive call. This is a ‘deep-dive’ into your business where we spend time discussing your vision and ideas so that we can create a website that truly reflects your company’s brand and all that your business has to offer.
Define project scope
We aim to make the process of defining the project scope as easy for you as possible; from helping you decide which pages your site will have, to the functionality you need and to choosing colours and a logo. We are here to work with you to bring your web project to fruition.
Once we have a clear idea of your requirements, we will produce an outline design of the site, as well as a proposal which will show a detailed specification and cost for your project.
You will get the chance to review the design at the end of this phase.
Building Your Site
With your go-ahead, we will then build your site. Once the build is complete, there will be an opportunity to review the site before making it live.
Maintaining Your Site
Once your site is up and running, we offer a range of maintenance packages to help you keep your site running optimally – 24 hours a day.
Depending on the package you choose, we ensure all updates to plugins, themes and WordPress core files are carried out.
This is vital for your website’s security and additionally, we can carry out regular backups of your site to further enhance its security.
Our websites are not only aesthecially pleasing, we also take into account User Experience (UX) best practices to make your site as easy as possible for your visitors to use and take the actions you need them to take.
Mobile responsiveness is a vital consideration. All of our sites work as well on smartphones and tablets as they do on desktop screens.
Making your site useable for those with impaired vision and other disabilities is something we are particularly passionate about. All of our sites are designed to be useable and accessible by everyone.
We use coding best practices to ensure that our sites operate efficiently, load quickly and provide an excellent user experience.
Our websites are designed to suit your requirements. From colour schemes to functionality, we will build the site you need.
We can integrate your website with pretty much any third-party application that allows it. From payment gateways to booking systems and more, there is a wealth of possibility for your website.
WordPress has grown in popularity over the years and now powers nearly 40% of all websites on the internet. A dynamic website builder with a robust content management system, it’s highly flexible and ideal for customised and bespoke website design.
Security is vital for keeping your website running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each site we build has a defined list of security features included as standard to protect your investment. We also offer maintenance packages to keep your site in excellent health once built.
Before handing over your site, we go through a rigorous testing procedure to make sure that your site works as it should. This includes testing that the site works on a range of devices and browsers. We also include 30 days of post-completion support to make sure that any bugs are taken care of.
We love WordPress and use WordPress.org to create all our sites. WordPress is an open-source website builder and content management system. It has been developed over many years as a result of contributions from some of the world’s best website developers.
WordPress.org offers almost limitless possibilities in terms of what a website can be made to do. Whether you need a simple site or blog to promote your business or you need something more sophisticated such as ecommerce capabilities, WordPress is sure to offer the solutions you need.
Unlike some of the well known website builders, WordPress.org sites are self-hosted. This means that you will need a web-hosting package. This is simply achieved and we can advise you on this and take you through the necessary steps.
With a website that is on your hosting, you have complete control and autonomy over your site in a way that is impossible with externally hosted website platforms. Benefits include, cost savings on monthly platform subscriptions, almost limitless possibilities in terms of functionality as well as the ability to monetise your site – something that is often not possible with the common website platforms.
WordPress is alsoSearch Engine Optimisation (SEO) friendly, which is highly beneficial in helping your site to rank on Google. We can also install Google Analytics, a free, user-friendly plugin that allows you to easily monitor how much traffic is visiting your site.
Website Update & Site Migration
Do you already have a website? Maybe you could benefit from migrating your existing site to WordPress to enable you to make easy updates yourself? Migrating your existing site to WordPress is a smart move as nearly 40% of the world’s websites are powered by WordPress.
